The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) was started in 2005 to fight against unconstitutional religious activity in the military. The MRFF represents approximately 25,000 active military personal, mostly Christians, who have been marginalized, harassed or punished for refusing to engage in activities supported by their commanders.

The Foundation has also spoken out against biblically coded references on military rifle scopes, (1) uniformed military personnel speaking in Christian settings, the distribution of Bibles in war zones, “spiritual fitness” programs in the military, blatant proselytizing to troops, and the harassment of Muslims, Jews, atheists, and non-fundamentalist Christians in training programs and in the field.
